I like your ideas of how you would spend the say without power – I agree yucky weather would probably be the reason.
My favorite board games are Parcheesi, Castle Checkers and Scrabble (Chinese Checkers is fun too.). Mr. Eaves does not like playing games and so I would probably work on a jigsaw puzzle.
